This month we’re visioning: talking about what we would like to see our communities become, and what we want to do in them, relative to the environment, climate and social equity. In the administration of #45, local community action will be more important than ever. Come help define approaches and solutions! We’ll be in Newark Mon 06 Mar, Clifton Library Tues 07 Mar, Hackensack Mon 13 Feb and there are a couple more events posted at the bottom of this email.

EJ = Environmental Justice  &  Green Drinks = is just our name! (EJ = la justicia ambiental)
 


Q: What is EJ GREEN DRINKS?
A: EJ GREEN DRINKS are networking events with a sustainability/environmental theme, which we hold in environmental justice communities in north Jersey … But sorry, no green drinks of any kind are offered.

EJ Green Drinks is just our group’s name for the informal gatherings we hold. EJ is short for Environmental Justice and the “Green” in our name relates to environmental issues. 

Q: Who are “we”?
A: A friendly group of people with excellent information to share on topics of sustainability, the environment, resiliency, greening your home and community and green citizen empowerment. We discuss activities taking place nearby, nationally, globally and exchange information that can be used in advocacy and greening efforts. At EJ Green Drinks, people drop in and out during the two hours we are on site for whatever time they can share. And we chat about any topic people want to bring to the table.

Each person pays for their own food and drink orders.
